Myosight™ Neonatal Cardiomyocytes Application specific screening module

  • Neonatal Cardiomyocytes

    Neonatal cardiomyocytes have gained in popularity for drug screening in the past several years due to their tissue-like morphology and spontaneous contraction ability. Myosight™ offers the first high throughput screen to overcome the significant difficulties in utilizing this system including the ability to measure contraction epicenter localization and number and contraction strength.

    Features :
    • Ability to assay viable neonatal cardiomyocytes using visible light through time
    • Multiple foci feature allows efficient isolation and quantitation of contraction centers at a rate and sensitivity beyond that possible by unaided observers
    • Isolation of foci allows separation between single cell and distributed contractions
    • Accurate measurement of contraction strength

  • Zebrafish

    Currently in development, Reify has teamed with researchers from Harvard Medical School to bring machine vision to high throughput screening of populations of Zebrafish for drug discovery.

    Features :

    • Accurate measurement of ventricle function and corresponding blood flow in situ in populations of fish
    • Capable of differentiating ventricle and atrium in wild type and mutant zebrafish
